Hey I cracked your pretty little head I cracked your pretty little funked out, fill'er up with junk yet and soak it up with bread I cracked your fat figurine That you should make so sublime How dare you carry out this holy shrine But its so natural That you're so beautiful and still so chemically Mine But its so natural That you're so beautiful and still so chemically Mine Hey I cracked your pretty little head I cracked your pretty little funked out, fill'er up with junk yet and soak it out with lead I cracked your fat figurine That you should make so divine How dare you carry out this holy shrine But its so natural That you're so beautiful and still so chemically Mine But its so natural That you're so beautiful and still so chemically Mine I've tasted this before You thought you were confined I ate it off the floor You've wasted all this time You said it was a "back-stretch love" You said it wasn't hard enough for me You cranked it up loud enough to know And stuck it out long enough to see Me crack her pretty head I cracked her pretty little head I cracked her pretty little head I cracked her pretty little head

about

Lava Diva was a trio I fronted and played guitar in from about 1992 to 2002. On bass was Johnny-G (Gianna Sabella) and on drums/percussion was Greg Bernath. We had put out a self-tltled electric album a few years before Creaks and Dogs and decided to do an acoustic album mostly because during the course of Lava Diva, Greg and Johnny got married and were about to have a baby. We thought it best to tone it down a bit, volume wise, as not to stress the fetus so we made an acoustic record. We recorded the whole CD on an 8 track in Johnny and Greg's house. Had it not been for our beloved Mr. John Wells who recorded and mixed Creaks and Dogs, I don't know how we would have done it and done it as well as we did. Recording in a house as opposed to a studio has great benefits but it comes with the cost of exteranious noises... hence the title of the record.
