It's a funny thing that growing up in a big city and wanting to leave home to see the world is not so different from growing up in any small town in America. Escaping the trappings of home is a universal feeling.

I never would have written the song as it sounds today without the valuable input from my co-writer, Mr. John Wells. He had perspective from a distance that I did not and made this song so much better than I could have made it on my own. I am eternally grateful for his push to finish and record it. We also produced it together. Waiting For Me will be on my upcoming full-length record, Stark Raving Calm releasing in October 2012.

All my songs are released under the label Candy From a Baby Records which gives a percentage of it's proceeds of all merchandise sales to various non-profits. Which is why i ask each person to spend the buck to own their own song and not to file share. It all adds up to support some great causes! Thanks for being cool.
